My Market Outlook for today

Investing in today's market... .



If you had bought $1000. 00 worth of Enron stock one year ago (at $85. 00 per share), it would now be worth $25. 00.

If you had bought $1000. 00 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, then traded in the cans at a redemption center for the nickel deposit, you would have $107. 00.



Given the current conditions of the economy, my advice is to drink

heavily and recycle.

Now just think if you wrote down some of the ideas you came up with in the middle of drinking that $1K worth of Bud..... betcha there would be a gem in there that would increase the value of your investment even more! That's how it works with me anyways-I'm gonna start carrying a Dictaphone with me to record all my strokes of genius!

stock market questions

If you sell a stock does someone really buy it or have to buy it? Does the market buy it? Who would buy Enron? I just know with stocks I've sold I've recieved the market price at the time that I sold it.

I'm not an expert; I just posted a good joke. I think that once you post your sale, your shares hit the floor (if the market is open at the time), and they are sold to someone. I could be wrong.

I gotta an idea

How about all you guys (and gals) bring over your favorite beverage (in a returnable for money container) and drink up and leave the clean up to me. This seems easier/safer then picking up bottles and cans along the highway
