My Mega Cab Long Bed conversion

Said from the moment I ordered this truck a couple months back that this was slated. In the second pic you can see the air overloads of the factory airbag option, for those that haven't seen them up close. It's just a typical Firestone setup. In the second pic you can see my bed being prepped. Gold hasn't been sprayed yet.

Having this done at Precision Bodyline in Salt Lake. Here's some teaser pics. I'd say this is the point of no return? :-laf :--)

Sorry I've been slow to update, I'm traveling on business.

They cut the frame at the rear axle centerline. So imagine where the axle tube is, run a line straight up. They then add the sleeves which extend the frame, and relocate the front spring hanger. Actually I believe they cut the old off and replace it completely.

Yeah, they really did a great job. Turned out perfect, and drives even better with the extra wheelbase. No rattles, shakes, vibrations, new noises. Goes down the road straight as it did before.

If anyone wants my exact truck, the second one I ordered but refused delivery on came in and is sitting at the local dealer. They were really happy to floor a truck with a MSRP of $73,900, but they shouldn't have tried to rip me off for the $500 "Truck Month" cash after the fact.

As for my house for sale, we put an offer on a house in Roswell, GA a couple days ago, so listed ours. Looks like we'll be AZ --> GA in 4-5 weeks. The main reason why I got a megacab actually was because we'll be making the trip back and forth several times a year hauling the toys back and forth and I figured the extra cab space would "help" reduce my 9 and 11yo from whining on the trip.

My new license plate came in. My wife has no idea what it means, but I suspect those here will have no issue figuring it out.
