Great looking rig. How long did it take them to do the job?

They typically do them in 3 days. They had mine for over a week because I was heading on a business trip and told them to take their time. I basically drove to UT, then from there went out of town...then flew back to UT and drove home. They have stuff all jigged up and long beds on hand so they can turn them around quick.

I really like the color combo.

Unfortunately, I have to have a white truck for work.

Thank you, it's pretty unique. Every now and then I'll run across this combination, including a couple guys here, but it's rare. Had an older woman at a car wash last week walk up to me and tell me how beautiful my truck was. We sat and talked about the conversion for several minutes. She left in a Mercedes. Was a very unlikely conversation. Perhaps she was looking for a young stud? Dang, missed opportunity. :)

Thank you for the quick reply. Do you have the Bucket Seats or the 40/20/40 Bench Seats ? Leather or Cloth, also what color is the exterior color called and what about the color of the seats. Again great looking truck you have there. Also did you say that the company that did this is in Salt Lake City? Congratulations.

I'm having a truck that I'm buying stretched as well, I'm curious where they mount the B&W gooseneck?
I asked the salesman at the body shop in Salt Lake who couldn't really answer me. Prior to the '13 model year frame change, the gooseneck ball was actually mounted AHEAD of the rear axle. After the change, it mounts basically directly above the axle. Personally, I like it ahead of the front axle the way it used to be. Can you tell me where your hitch is in relation to the rear axle?

It is mounted just ahead of the axle. I can take a pic if you'd like. Since the factory fifth wheel mount is welded to the frame, and they add the 20" behind that (on the axle centerline), they use the B&W as an additional structural support. As such, they actually weld it in there. So looking underneath you'll see the B&W and then the factory crossmember, where the factory fifth wheel mounts directly in front of it.

I just turned 22k miles. I pile miles on. Stretch is perfect. No driveline vibrations and it drives smoother than stock. I did have one of the fender flares, which attaches with adhesive start to come off. I contacted the Precision Bodyline and they would have paid to have someone fix this for me. When they did the conversion it rained the entire week and they think this is why the adhesive didn't stick. However, I took it to the dealer and played ignorant and they reattached it under the warranty. I don't even think they noticed it was a long bed mega cab, and they just fixed it like they would any other long bed that came in there under warranty.

If you wouldn't mind measuring how far in front of the axle centerline it is, I'd appreciate if it. I just bought a new 5th wheel and I'm trying to decide if I need a shorter pinbox or not. I hate having 3 or 4 feet of wasted space between the bumper and the 5th wheel, the closer you can have it to the cab, the better the mileage and ride quality. Not to mention I need every inch of shortening up I can squeeze out of this beast, especially when I hitch the boat up and pull doubles.

The long bed conversion should have added 22" to the overall length of his MegaCab. It's most likely 270.4" in overall length.

One quick update, the gold they painted specifically on the passenger side bed is starting to abnormally chip. I noticed it when I washed it last, and hadn't noticed it before since the weather has been crappy and I typically pay for it to be hand washed and don't look that close. It's actually bad enough that you can see it (now that its clean), from 20' away. I haven't contacted them to see what they have to say, but unfortunately I've moved to GA and UT is a long distance away. When I picked it up initially I asked them specifically about the paint as it had been raining the entire week prior and up thru when I picked it up. I asked if I'd have any issues with it curing. At that time they told me about another out of state customer which had a bad batch of paint who they took care of by using a third party. Like I said, I haven't had an opportunity to speak with them about it yet (been traveling on business), but I'll report back what they say. I'll also get some pics posted as well.

For the consumer $$$'s you spent on the conversion, I'm sure they'll take care of it via 3rd party no issues.
