I installed one of the Nelson 51" mufflers in place of the CC and factory muffler. I am pleased with the install. With the Cat removed the install goes quite easy as far as lining things up goes, I only had to make one small angle change at the back to get things where I wanted them. Parts required were the 86131M muffler, a 48" and a 12" piece of 4" tubing (cut to length during install), the clamps were reused. Three hangers hold the muffler up and these were very easy to fabricate.

Slighty louder and deeper than the factory at idle and no noticeable difference at cruising speed.

Job well done. I love my Nelson. After awhile, she'll really sound like a semi truck. On another note, I can't believe you were able to reuse the stock clamps...

Yep. . a little WD-40 and they spun right off with the impact. I had new ones at the shop but just threw some anti-seize on the threads and put em back on :)
