My new 2004 Dually

Here is a pic of my new '04 3500 DRW.



The truck was ordered on oct. 9 and was delivered nov. 26 at the dealer. 7 weeks delivery. I'm from Canada.



I am now looking for mud flaps and black tubular side steps... I need "wheel-to-wheel" side steps, not only cab area. Suggestions are welcome!

Hi Denis,

Congrats, nice truck! Of course I am biased, as my '03 looks identical, also Patriot Blue. I recommend the moulded mudflaps from Husky (purchased from The Truck Outfitters - formerly Cap-it) They look great and seem to be working well on my dually. I would consider running boards rather than tubular steps. The Patriot Blue chips and scratches very easily. Of course, it depends where you live and on driving conditions. We use ours to go over several mountain passes in the winter and also to go up to the hill skiing so I wanted more protection than the tube steps (had them on my '01).

Nice truck Denis. . Get the Dodge dually mud flaps not to much $ and pretty easy to install oh and they look good too.

Yup, I must agree, a great looking truck (of course I have a '04 Patriot Blue DRW 4x4, too... )



I have the Dodge mudflaps on the rear - they look good and aren't too expensive. I'm also looking for W-W bars, too, but can't decide on the type. Yhere are many out there. Looked at GoRhino (www.gorhino.com) and some local HD ones (there was a recent thread for a group buy on some).

Glad you got your new truck! I ordered mine on September 18th and I still don't have it! It's on a railcar somewhere in Texas.



Here is a sample of the Mudflaps I'm going to get, you can modify them to say just about anything you want and also the RamHead to Cummin C's or have him custom make just about anything you want. My new truck will be called Ghost Rider, so I'm working on possibly a horse with a Ghost Rider. I'm getting mine in Stainless Steel. Jason at Northwest Custom does great work!

Good Luck with your new truck. I pick mine up tomorrow 12/2, paid today to get "Holiday rebate" it was ordered 10/29. Hope the truck is as fast as they built it. Putco makes Dually Nerf Bars, the go to the back wheel #46137, best deal I found was at www.truckxpressions.com (check out the extra 10% off) the only thing is that they are taking longer than the truck. they also sell the Husky Liner molded mud flaps - (good way to get the 10%).

This is where I got my 'Willmore" Stainless Steel, Wheel to Wheel, Nerf Bars. $410 with shipping included to a business address! Notice they turn out to match the dually fenders.
