That was RVTRKN. Mine seems to lean to the left, but I have not dug into it.Did you get your airbag fixed?

Talked to friend that works at the local Dealer, no issues on the factory rear air bags.
Yes, or so it seems, a day after turning it in, I got word that it tested OK. I questioned the service writer, that the driverside airbag would not inflate when the passenger side would. So the tech took another look at it. I had a conversation with the tech and he explained the system a little bit. I have an invitation to sit down with the tech in acouple of weeks. Keep in mind I never saw the airbag on the drivers side inflated. I picked up the truck this morning, and it sure seemed to ride a little rougher, could be my imagination. I also checked the airbags and both had pressure and put it through the same test before I turned it in, and all seems to be working, or at least without the speacial testing equipment to confirm it.Did you get your airbag fixed?
The tech did mention that the sensors attached to the springs have to be calibrated, when repairs are made. They work independantly, so maybe there's a slight chance that an adjustment needs to be made. The system is also a sealed system, that moves/pumps nitrogen from the storage tank to the bags and back to the tank. If the system has a leak it will give a message on the dash. That was RVTRKN. Ram seems to be very tight lipped on this system. I have seached the internet for a couple of days and there is very little information. This system has been out for 5 years now, you would think there would be more than what I found. I will know more info on the 26th of October. But yet they do seem to be popping up![]()

There is bound to be issues as time goes on ,airbags are going to get old, sensors etc. It may be a very reliable system , and seems to be , but there has been ,and will be problems .
Well.....post #223 never alluded to the fact if it was a blanket statement for model years of 2015 through 2018 OR 2019 only.......until your post above. I think that was what was in question, at least by me.I asked about the 19’s having issues and he said they have had no issues at their dealership. What’s so hard to understand?
GS at least has some humor on his comments. 14 you are simply an AZZ.

Wife's 2004 Buick Rainier has rear air. Still performing the same all this years later and an amassing 65K on the clock.![]()
There was a question a couple posts before mine asking about a 19’s bag issue. So I thought I was elaborating on the 19. Guess I should have been more clear.
also the topic is “my new 2019”
What do you want to say with this?
That everything man made can break?
