Competition Question for those with driveshaft loops...

Here are some pics of Brian Welliver's 06+ Lunar S bumper. What is really unique about the application is that we incorporated a ram air cold air intake in the outer light mount. I will let Brian give you the specs on how much it reduced his EGTs (I think it dropped it around 200 degrees. We are developing this as an option and it should be available by mid October as an option to our bumpers. Brian is considering either adding ducting on the drivers side to help cool the power steering system as he will be installing a lift with larger tires or mounting an air horn in the light mount.

The kit will include a flanged 5" dia. tube section that will attach the ducting to the stock air box, special ducting that can that allow the diameter to be reduced by twisting the tube clockwise or counter clockwise depending if you want to reduce the diameter or increase the diameter. This allows you to "fit" the tube around factory compenents and since it is made of a polymer you don't have to worry about carrosion. Finally, the recessed light mount is specially sized to allow the ducting to be connected.

Brian: I think I covered everything if not please feel free to elaborate.

Before hitting the thread I was ready to see something over the top of the truck. That's usually where they come at me from. - Eric

Hey Guys: yep this is one stout bumper. Well built and extra heavy duty. The 12K winch is anchored in nice as so are the frame mounts to the bumper are fully boxed in for extra strength. If you are looking for an extra heavy duty along with style then look no further. This is it. Best part is the Ram Air is in the Perfect location for easy routing. What I notice the most is how responsive the truck is now. It use to lag on excelleration. Not any more. It's just right there when you crack the throttle. Additionally he has a bunch of styles to choose from. Oh and if you don't see some thing you like. Call him. He will work with you to personalize your bumper for you. No extra charge. Jim is a stand up guy and will do what ever it takes to make you happy. Oh and my bumper with powder coating and lights came in at $1,900 OTD. Killer price. I have had nothing but compliments on my truck since I put it on. Oh and his price includes shipping. Not like all the others where that's extra. Not trying to sound like an infomercial here but he truly has been one of the best vendors I have dealt with in a long time. Thanx again Jim for all the help on personalizing my truck. Lift kit is next and big tires. Pics to follow guys.
