Well those of you who have switched out your stock transmission for one of the aftermarket units know what Iamb talking about. Those of you who are thinking about it should go ahead and have it done if funds allow. I have no words to describe the difference of the two. You'll just have to put one in and then you'll know what Iamb talking about.

The only thing I can say is with the original stock unit you seemed to have to pour the coal to it just to get it up to speed. With this new unit it is a mere tap of the accelerator and you're off.

Now I won't have to worry as much about waking the neighbors driving up the hill out of my subdivision as this new transmission allows the truck to pull it slightly past an idle. Oh yeah, wot is a hoot also.

Upgraded transmission.

I know what you're sayin'. I drove an '07 auto and the truck didn't move until the tach hit a few hundred rpm's over idle. I've been spoiled by my DTT. Glad your loving your DG. He's got a great reputation.

I forgot to add I'm pretty happy with myself as I had no bolts, hoses or other things left over when I was done. Quite an accomplishment for me.

I just picked up my truck from the trans shop where I had a Goerend shipped and installed. This is like driving a new truck! Instant throttle response & crisp shifts that hit at the right times. NO MORE aimless wandering through the gears! It just picks up and goes. THANK YOU DAVE

It's on my short list. I've hated the stock from day one since I bought the truck a year ago.

My transmission budget went for a new timing gear case... Oo.

Well I didn't have the cash either, well that is not entirely true, I guess I won't have as much money to spend on remodeling my house as I wanted but hey, guy has to have his priorities.

Dave did my 95 dodge and what a difference

It like a new truck. He the only way to go. I drove a long way to get there but I would do it again. There are ones that have and then there are those that are going too. Dave is the man. This fellow has done his homework.
