I just couldn't put off swapping out my old clutch any longer. I wanted to wait for Triple D but that team is busy 'till January or so. A look at the attached image & it's apparent why I couldn't wait longer. South Bend got the new clutch & flywheel to me in two days! My local non diesel mechanic & I wrestled a our way through the swap in a couple of afternoons. What a great clutch! Lighter than the stock one that came out, no slipping & smooth as glass. I'm finally going to be able to use the power my HRVP 44 delivers through Smarty enhanced Mach 1. 5's :) Then maybe I'll get brave & tap the pump for my APB. :D

loks familiar, it's just so tempting to test out the higher levels of smarty... LOL

I loaded #9 in the ECM right away when I got this truck last February. It already had 140,000 "hard" miles on it. I put the Mach 1. 5's in this summer & all was still good but with the HRVP 44 It started slipping while passing. :( I'm really surprised it worked as well as it did. The disc is worn down to the rivets.
