My New Year's Wish (Ends January 13, 2012)

OK, I know it is officially still Christmas time, but let's do something that gets us thinking about 2012 and the wonderful things that lie before us.

My wish for 2012 is that it will be a year full of fun, friendship, and financial prosperity for our nation. I pray that everyone who needs a job, finds one. I pray that everyone finds something each and every day to be thankful for. And I pray that we all get at least one belly laugh and hug before tucking into bed each night.

Dear Lord,
Please know that so far this year I've done quite well in my thoughts and being...
I haven't gossiped, I haven't lost my temper, I haven't been greedy or grumpy, nasty or selfish, or even overindulgent. I am very thankful for your wisdom and love in guiding me through these difficult times. But in a few minutes, Lord, please know that I am going to get up and out of bed, and from then on I'm probably going to need a LOT more help.

The cross country RV trip was in our plans for last summer but life has a way of getting in the way of plans sometimes. Hopefully we will set out this summer.
