My opinion on ATS.

I bought and paid for the stuff I use, no one sponsers me or gives me anything for free. I give free advice though.

Maybe everyone should have a DISCLAIMER in their signatures, especially the ones that are affiliated with a company.



Then no one would be mislead, and the ones who do not do their research won't be taken for a ride by biased people.

for the record ...

i'm a DTT test mule and trained builder , ex paid installer ( my schedule and personal commitments put an end to the installing jobs ).



i bought and paid FULL RETAIL ( this is the way DTT does it , that way it keeps me and them HONEST ) before i became a test mule .



i have recieved a couple of freebies , namely 1 set of injectors and a couple other internal trans parts ... EDIT ... that are updated components of parts i had already purchased ... so i can fullfill my end of breaking stuff . it costs me time, gaskets, and fluids to fullfill my part of testing , i'm 3000 miles from DTT .

one if these days I will be getting bombs for the trannie... . DTT/ATS I dont know yet, waiting for more feedback from ATS users. still lean toward DTT. . but time will tell. Jim

I don't know about the rest of you, but even if I was sponsered by any company... and their product kept failing and shutting me down... . They wouldn't be my sponser for very long... . no matter how many (whatevers) they provided me with.....



I would say that the most important thing to everyone here iw that we have as much fun behind the wheel as possible... .

Can't do that if you are constantly replacing parts... . So unless these people are ONLY racing... . then I expect we will get their true feelings about a product in time... . especially if they are failing!!!

I agree with THerman but there are some that have been on this board for many years and know things about each other and respective companies or manufacturers that the new comer doesn't and that is the reason why we should all be open about who our sponsers or lack of sponsers are.



There are some who have been sponsered by companies in the past that are no longer sponsered yet they still antaganize others. Is this right or fair, we will all have to judge that point when we come to it.

Look, I NEVER ment to start this thread on a topic like it has gotten on to. I was just joking around and it came out the Eric McBride is getting some work done by ATS. I never met to get that out in the open. Just wanted to say sorry because I feel that it is partly my fault.
