Finally figured out how to attach a photo - hope this works. What I did was make an aluminum holder for the bottle and mount her behind the fender liner - to the frame. Has worked for over 100,000 miles. One has to keep her empty OR it will drip over th e establiizer bar. Gravity flow and very easy to get at.

Overflow bottle

hammersley... .

How did you route the hose? Was it long enough, or did you replace it?

Thanks,

Steve :)

Extended her -

I just simply picked up an additional piece of straight hose and ran it via a hose connector, from where the hose ran into the bottle. I think I picked up the connector at the irrigation section in home depot. At the end I ran a 90 and put about 1" of additional hose so it fits in the bottle. There are no ties - she just hangs there... . and it's a snap to clean - and all runs downhill.

Im going to do my vent the way it is done on the N-14 Cummins.

They have a hose that comes out of the valve cover toward the rear left corner, and there is a PVC like valve and the hose goes over and down the rear side of the engine. I then will block off the front opening so all the vapors go out the hose to the rear. shouldn't be as much oil residue since the drips will have to go up instead of horizontal out the front. I talked to a Cummins guy and he said he didn't see why that couldn't be done on our trucks. This will cure the "Downhill Dump a quart" senario. You go over 23 deg. down to the front and you dump oil. not good... .
