My project truck

I know she isnt pretty, but she will be... ( I know a lot of guys who hope that for their girlfriends... . ) Anyhow, this is my toy. Plans for this spring are paint and a skyjacker 4" lift... I was wondering what everyone thinks would be a good color... I keep jumping from dodge patroit blue ( the original color was electric blue, or whatever they called it... ) to something a little more wild like sassy grass green or go mango (to keep with the whole mopar theme). I have a new rust free bed to put on and am almost done with the body work, so I would guess paint in the next few weeks... I put 2 "before" photos in my gallery... check her out if you dare... .

Color is personal like those girls you mentioned. I have seen some paint and girls that I thought were putrid but their owner/boyfriends were tickled plum.



The only suggestion I have is to use really good paint. Otherwise it will look like all the rest of our trucks- - - peeling faded zits stringy haired- - oops I went from trucks to girls.

Major, Major work invloved changing the color of a vehicle unless the whole thing is apart with the door jambs, firewall and everything bare. Maybe that's your plan, if not here's an idea, that nassau blue from the 60's corvettes, the gran sport racers in particular, look it up, i love that color and it might work with the color you allready have, then you could mat black the hood with black accesories for that dodge rt/scat pack look. Just a thought. p. s. use only urethane in base/clear or single stage paint.

The original blue on that truck was a beautful color. There are several on the site that color with a darker stripe on the side panels, very nice looking trucks. Glen

Took the bed off the donor truck today... and took the bed off of my truck; thank goodness for air tools !!! I still haven't decided on the color, but have lots of time to decide on that... I even too the nifty little ram head hood ornament off the donor truck... that'll look cool on my '93
