It is my understanding from this message board that Big Bad Dodges like mine came with Dana 60 rear gears...

Under the hood, my gear ratio is claimed to be 3. 5 and the rear end is a Spicer 70.

I have not gotten around to jacking up the old beast and checking if it had a limited slip or not yet.

I guess what I am wondering is, is my rear end normal? Likely is it a limited slip? Shouldn't it be 3. 54 : 1 gears?

Look under the hood and on the white tag that you are getting the axel ratio info from it should say "limited slip" or Power lock axel", or something along these lines. If not there crawl under the truck and on a piece of metal located under the bolts that hold the cover on will be a tag. This tag will show the gear ratio and if it has an "L" after it you have a Locking or Posi rearend. These are the only way to tell without removing the rear cover.
