Not sure.....I wonder if the switch to the Donaldson DBL 7349 oil filters could have been a small factor as well?So, from the recent numbers can we presume the high metal numbers were from a break in period?

No.....but it has the new CK in it as of yesterday.I'd be curious what another lab, like oaitesting, would say. Since you're paying for TBN with blackstone OAI would be cheaper too.
I've always been substantially less than impressed with Blackstone and their "averages" numbers, as well as complete lack of knowledge on the tech's part whenever I talk to them. They have their own standard for things, despite Cummins publishing oil analysis guidelines.

This true.......but I *might* have went a smidgen over 55 on occasion.Except for when he had to drive 55mph in California......:-laf
