I used to use the plastic bins in my 98 1500 ram but they became a PIA. The local ALDI's store had theses in the circular one Sunday.

Two opened and one folded, you can see the cargo bar yellow thing in the background.

3 of them fit across the width of the bed, keeps the old style six pack carons from loosing the bolt first turn and all ending up at the front of the bed or breaking on the way home.
They also work great with either the plastic bags or the recycled bags to bring them into the house. All at once if you have one of the folding hand carts from Horrible fright

I don't have anything in the well storage under the rear seat other that the grille cover so folded up it fits in there, I have another of the folding baskets add a two liter
bottle holder for bags, other items and the ratchet straps. We rarely use the back seat for people. It stays up in the stowed position. Yes that is a tailgate ladder in the photo. And that is another
great must have for use older guys that find the 2500 4x4 stock a little high! I had to modified it slightly to make it work and will do another post on it.
