There ya go,, I'll give some info on them when I can sit in front of the computer again... but here is some info for now.

Stacks are 6' tall 5" in diameter,, there is a custom made "Y" pipe from my old exhaust setup splitting the stock 3" downpipe into two 3" pipes,, One 3" pipe goes to the drivers side underneath, and slightly behind the u-joint right behind the transmission, the other one just goes underneath the frame rail on pass. side.

The 3" pipes then go into 3"- 4" and 4"- 5" adaptors and a short length of 5" pipe before going into a "short" 90* 5" pipe and then a "long" 90* 5" pipe.

I used a little bleach for the burnouts (2nd gear).

The radio is an Eclipse (can't recall model# right now)and the EQ is a Kicker IQ900, running into an Eclipse amp (45Wx4) Front speakers are Eclipse 3-way, 6x9, 90 watts, rear speakers are Kickers 5" 75watts. The subs are Kicker Comp VR's 10" 300 watts powered by a (can't recall name brand) 275 watt x 2 amp.

Hope you enjoyed. .

Havin' fun in Laredo,,

Nice Pictures. If blackdog would see this forum he would indeed post his pictures of his truck with the stacks on it. They look pretty awsome. you out there Black Dog?:--)

NICE STACKS!!!! I've been thinking about running stacks on the outside of the bed due to my cap. I thought it would look kind of funky. That looks pretty sweet. Any problems with heat that close to the paint? Did you make brackets to attach the stack to the top of the bed? I was actually surfing the net for stacks last night. I was looking for pictures of that kind of set-up. Nice job. Must sound awsome. -Glen

Yea Nick, I would but I don't have any pics of my 97 yet on disk plus the truck is in the shop up at Mitchell's. When I get it back I'm gonna post pics of both my trucks together. Take care!

The look REAL GOOD. :D

Not real stealthy, is it?

I'm guessing you don't sneak up on many rice rockets for races with that set-up! They probably turn tail when they see/hear you Cummin'. :D

OMG !!!

WOW, MC, that looks great !!! Real nice job, no need for the MIL gauge install, no one would ever be looking beyond those stacks anyhow !!!!!

Hey Wirenut,,, what kind of hood ya got on that thing? Looks like a scoop or air intake? Real or fake? Thanks for the info.

A Ram on the moon, ROFLMAO :-laf that's a good one. 'fess up, Wirenut, where'd you sneak off to in the U. S. without telling us about it? Truck looks good.

And Merrick? OMG. :p Why didn't you do it the Messkin way, and run it through holes in the bed cap? :D Don't take it to any bars, them Lonestar longnecks rattle really bad at the bottom of stacks. :-laf Texans ! Looks good, dude. Time to get my stacks on, I guess. Way past time. It freaks people out, that hanging out with the original stacker (Stack'd 'n' Jack'd) as much as I do , that I haven't yet succumbed to two years of his bad influence, and put stacks on it... .

Problems with heat... . None so far,, My stack is about 1/8th inch from the Plastic body trim,, recently I held EGT's in the 1000-1400* range for 45 minutes and there was no problem,, both stacks were touchable right after stopping.

EGT's are the same as my old exhaust setup.

There is a heavy duty bracket clamping around the pipe and a thick (1/4") bar welded to the bracket, then bolted onto the top of the bed. There are also about 7 hangers underneath the truck with 4 hangers dedicated around the 5", 90* elbow sections.

They do not even budge an inch,, even over the bumps that make you go EWW, and squint your eyes  :D
