My stupid question of the day.

I'm looking for the capacities of the axels, auto transmission, and transfercase of my 04. 5. I looked through the owners manual and if it's in there, it must me hiding from me.

Specification says:



Front axle: 4. 75 pts

Rear axle: 7. 65 pts (11. 5" axle)

Transfer case: 4 pts



Don't know about the auto transmission. I put 3 quarts up front (running out the fill hole) and 4 quarts out back (1/4 inch below fill hole). Have not changed transfer case fluid yet.

If its the stock pan you will get out between 5-7 quarts,



its usually right on 6 quarts. (Pan drop and filter change. )
