I Finally had the money for a KORE Chase system. I got it installed a couple of days ago. I was tired of spending $300 a year on shocks, having sagging springs, and dealing with the rear axle wrap.

Here are a few pics:

Scrappy, your vehicle looks good. Please post how it rides, opposed to stock. I've got a 3500 srw too and want to get the KORE/Chase. I don't have tools/time/facilities to do it myself and if your installer is competent, I'd drive from Montgomery and give 'em some business ( got some friends at Sea Crest ). Again. . you did it right!

Thanks for the compliments! It seems to be less bouncy and jarring on the small bumps in the road. on the bigger bumps it hits and is right back on the ground putting the power down. the axle wrap on take off is softened too. I really haven't put but maybe 50 mi. on it since the install. I really want to find somewhere that I can get it to flex to see what it has. I did the install myself in my driveway (in the dark/rain/ by myself) with a small set of jackstands, a 2. 25 T floor jack, and a 20 T bottle jack. it took me 10-12 hrs spread over 3 nights to do it. The only snag I ran into is I couldn't take the trackbar loose where KORE recommended so I just took it loose @ the other end.

hope you like it scrappy, i love mine. out here in the desert going down dirt roads that have been washed out it is a hugh improvement over stock. my sons always tell me to go faster now

Have had the Chase system on my new megacab for two weeks now. Doesn't ride nearly as well as the Bilstein/Kore race system on my 04' quadcab. Not even close. Kore says to send back the shocks to Fox for a revalve. Won't be able to drive my truck while I wait for the shocks to return. Not sure what I'm gonna do!

Have FOX send you the valving & some oil. Its pretty easy to do them yourself, then you will have your truck back the road the same day. I rebuilt & re-valved the FOX 2. 5 shox I had. Simple they will send you instructions along with the parts.

MegaRocks,

That's too bad you don't like the way the Chase rides. I went from the older Chase w/ the 7100's and HD coils, to the new Chase w/ the FOX 2. 0's and VR coils. The new system rides much smoother on the pavement, and performs better all around than the old Chase.

update

I found a local dirt road that is REAL rough, like everyone said, the faster you go, the smoother it is. I actually was going 80 @ one point until I realized how fast I was going! And no I usually don't run 80 on dirt but it just kept getting smoother! There were some pretty bad potholes in the road and I definitely could feel the truck hit them but it never bottomed out or kicked out the rearend like it used to. I looked @ the shocks when I got home and the frontend looks like it maxed out at about 2. 5" of uptravel and the rear had 2". The axle wrap is greatly reduced but wheelhop in loose sand is still there but it too is somewhat reduced.
