I have noticed since the lift pump replacement and the fuel filter replacement that i still have no power like i used to. It feels like i am pulling a loaded trailer. Could it be something else? I don't know what to point to this time, the computer doesn't show any codes. Any suggestions?

So you lost power after the LP and fuel filter were changed? If DC did the work maybe they flashed your PCM or something. Or maybe your replacement LP is worse than the old one, I would start by confirming the pressure at the VP44 under loaded conditions.

Maybe they forgot to take the fuel filter out of the plastic bag when they changed it .

My first thought was the same as rspinks. If they reflashed your ECM you'll lose power for sure; if they did do a reflash there should be a sticker in the engine compartment (I believe on the support bar in front of the radiator) to indicate the flash rev and the date implemented.

Check all of the fittings on the hoses from the turbo to the intake. If you loose boost, the computer adds less fuel. This is where the boost guages come in handy, they give you a clue as to what is going on. Check the hoses and check for a reflash sticker, and let us know what you find.

The computer has not been reflashed, no sticker and the dealer confirms that. could the computer have erased itself? I had a dodge truck do that once before. This truck is really beginning to annoy me with a passion.
