Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) My Truck Has The Hickups Need Advice???

My check engine light came on about 1 month ago. The code was P0122(tps/apps low input voltage). DC replaced the sensor under warranty and the engine light has not come on since, but now the truck has a glitch in 3rd or 4th gear(auto trans). It momentarily looses power. It does this with the chip on or off. I hooked up a scan tool and the torque converter seems to be working properly. some times it does it once or twice a day and sometime several times a day. The dealership told me I need a new torque converter/trans pump/seal kit and a new input shaft. I DON'T THINK SO. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I thinks its possibly the new tps/apps that was installed.
