Steering Wheel

Illfem - I had my steering wheel replaced in the first year because the leather was starting to ball up - I've lost count of the bad leather steering wheel covers that I see here in Texas. Might be related to the heat and humidity.
It's not the small problems with the truck that are annoying, it's the hassle that you get from DC / Dealers by not covering them under warranty.
Case in point - the throttle cable problem on 95 - 96 5 speed trucks. Why did it take 5 years for DC to admit that they had a problem and issue a recall? This is a safety issue and their lack of acknowledgement on the problem makes you wonder what else they won't admit or are hiding!
I've had my share of problems and still like the truck. Just wish that DC would upgrade the quality of redesigned parts so that we had confidence in replacing the originals.
