After owning my truck for 3 months I finally got to put it to use today. I took my 30' boat out for the season and towed her home :{ about 40 miles. With the AC on and about 10000-11000 in tow she walked over the Zilwaukee bridge without me having to touch the go pedal or even worry about "getting a run going" before I hit the incline, unlike every gasser I have had, inlcuding a 454.

While my only mod is a rusted tailpipe that fell off (I can hear the turbo much better now) I was very happy with its performance. I know I only have 420# of torque and not as heavy of a trailer as many of you, but I just wanted to share my excitement with those of you who share the same appreciation for things like this. :D

Next year I am hitting the hills up north with no fear (once I get a transmission temp gauge)

Glad it's working for you.

Now, move here to AZ where you can boat all year long!

BTW, I'm going out tomorrow. Nanny nanny boo boo! :D

Why get a gauge, it's lasted this long without one?

What if he gets a hole in a line or starts to leak fluid somewhere going down the road and doesn't notice it? Or if he's pulling a long hill and the transmission starts to heat up. If he has the transmission temp guage he'll be able to know theres a problem when his temps go through the roof. And save the transmission before it becomes a big peice of scrap metal.

Just my . 02
