After owning my truck for 3 months I finally got to put it to use today. I took my 30' boat out for the season and towed her home :{ about 40 miles. With the AC on and about 10000-11000 in tow she walked over the Zilwaukee bridge without me having to touch the go pedal or even worry about "getting a run going" before I hit the incline, unlike every gasser I have had, inlcuding a 454.
While my only mod is a rusted tailpipe that fell off (I can hear the turbo much better now) I was very happy with its performance. I know I only have 420# of torque and not as heavy of a trailer as many of you, but I just wanted to share my excitement with those of you who share the same appreciation for things like this.
Next year I am hitting the hills up north with no fear (once I get a transmission temp gauge)
