Dang Mark, I am coming off 2 days of the worst flu I have had in years. As much as I would like to come down and assist, based on the last 2 days I doubt if I will be up for it. I hope you don't have to do this by yourself, if at all possible I will swing by to help out. PM me your cell #, I'll get back with you in the morning.

i appreciate that bill. you can relax. i know what its like to be getting over something like that. it is my first cummins. but definately not my first engine. besides i wont have the parts to fix it until wednesday or thursday. i just hope my cherry picker can handle the weight. my cell # is in my profile. i will d/c you tonight.

Mark wouldn't it have been easier to just pull the trans??? And rebuild it while its out ;)

Just saw this. Sorry i can't make it down to help. Good luck though.

hey bill, probably got about an hour or two left. its just about out.

curtis, i just didnt want to lay under the engine and try to mess with the crankshaft. i dont really have the money to rebuild the trans right now. i feel lucky enough that the wife is letting me buy a torque converter. i am kind of a budget bomber, lol. one piece at a time.

Mark - my $0. 02 - On the torque converter - if you get one from the same company you plan to have the trans done by it'll be that much less "kha ching" come trans time. $3500 +/- and then minus the new torque converter = heck of a lot less than $3500. Hope all goes well with the old out / in and that your cherry picker survives. lol.

Ut-Oh  the weak link (auto) is being addressed a bit - Look out and let the games begin :-laf . So what's next Mark sticks, box or both? It's a hard to stop thing once you get started :-laf enjoy!

well i took some pictures but they are too large to upload on here. i dont have a program on my laptop to change the size.

joe, i already have rv275's and superchips power programmer. i would like to upgrade to a comp or tst powermax 3 someday. before that i will do more to the trans. like billet shafts, all the other upgrades. and also fuel upgrades like fass or something like that.
