My wife took the truck to the store today,and to run some errands toinght,it didnt stall once. She still has that grin she cant wipe off her face,from the power it has. Now i gotta get my keys back from her,she dont want to give them up.

I know this is aon old topic now,but i just wanted to update it,my truck started stalling 3 days after i put the new comp in,so it wasnt the problem. I went back to the deaer,and they reflashed it again. I now know that the last reflash didnt take,because iot idled at 800 always,as soon as they flashed it this time,I fired it up,and now it idles at 850,it hasnt stalled since,so i think it is licked now. i also had them put in the latest flash for the cold fast idle,too,Its been in week,and hasnt worked yet,it was 11 a few night ago,and i left it unplugged deliberatly to see if it worked. Well the stalling is fixed,man this thing really is tough to stop now,with an 850 idle,and tight tc,you gotta stand on the brakes to stop it!Trans seems to run quite a bit hotter at slow speeds too,I may need to go to a double deep trans pan now for plowing. The new Comp is perfect too,no more problems with it turning itself on. I noticed the new comp,has no red decal on it showing the power levels,the orignal does,just an obsevation,they both put a big smile on my face.
