Cummins powered chevy on ebay

Super singles..... OTR

Early sunday morn. , (2 a. m) I met some friends out downtown, and as everything was closing up, I had just gotten in the truck and was gettin ready to go, when I decided to make a quick call before I left. So the dome lights faded off, and from behind I hear some dudes talkin, didn't think nothin of it. All the sudden, I hear one of the guys say (muffled, my windows were up) "yo watch this". . out of the corner of my eye, before I could do anything to react, up comes a figure in the pitch black and BAM! this (insert words here) comes up and PUNCHES my drivers door right below the handle! #@$%!

Prior to this as a last second effort, I was gonna start the truck, so he knew that I was in it, so instantaneously, the motor turned over, a millisecond too late. We all know what a cold, straightpiped Cummins sounds like, His eyes must have been big as baseballs! I threw open my door, grabbed the handle and the post, yelled a few choice words, climbed back in, threw on my lights, threw it in gear, a little powerbrake, then let'er rip. Right at him. He's one lucky SOB that he could jump a 4' wrought iron fence, or he may very well have found out what a 7k truck feels like. Knowing what the bodies are like on these trucks I was assuming the worst. However, all it left were 3 knuckle marks in the door, no chips or scratches.

How big must ones "stones" be to be so stupid?!? Who knows if that fence wasn't there, I wasn't drinkin, so as far as I'm concerned, hitting someone sober is a LOT better than hitting someone intox. We work way too hard to be privileged to drive these monsters, and spend way too much time and money to keep them nice to let crap like this happen. I am glad at least I was in the truck... who knows.

when you think about the trouble you can get in afterwards for runnin someone down cause they punched your truck you say dam Im glad I didnt hit him but lemme tell ya if I was in your situation I would have probably done the same thing. Hell, I would have just pleaded temporary insanity. I got the post count and dieselhead friends to back it :-laf

Dont know why some people get off on bustin up others stuff. Must not have anything worth a dam of there own so are jealous of everyone else #@$%!

You are lucky!!

The guy could have had a gun (and used it).

Probably a drunk...

There are some crazy idiots out there. I would have probably done the same thing or worse (gone through the fence :-laf ).

At least you are dealing with dents and not bullet holes.

It is hard to keep your cool in situations like that. Good job!!

I bet he freaked when he heard it start up :--) .

Sounds like he hit it in a good spot. Too bad you cant do the same to his forehead.

Now you need to find one of those paintless dent removal specialist. They can have your door like new about 30 minutes.

My pistol stays in the center con sole. I would say the heck with cranking up the truck and out comes the pistol. Self defense instead of vehicular homicide, especially since he was obviously drunk and/or stoned and you were sober. The sober one would win and it would be clear you acted in self defense. He would NEVER vandalize anything except the inside of his coffin while he takes the eternal dirt nap!

I carry a Dakota COLT 45 for just such a occasion... Sorry ******* would have really freaked out looking down that fat barrel. I won't shoot a guy, but sure would have his *** until the cops show up.

glock 31 357 sig for back up, he would of been there when the cops arrived, probably with the impressions of my tire knocker all over him :D

He couldn't have had much of a punch if he didn't dent the sheetmetal. I would have shown him a punch or two that would... .

Idiot

idiots like that are why i dont carry a gun in any of my trucks anymore[daily driveing]. but back when i did,i kept a shotgun in all my trucks. let me tell you, only a complete fool would argue with a scattergun pointed at them. i have a lot of respect for others property, and i comand the same. accidents or slip ups are one thing, but outright vandalism pisses me off.

I hear in Texas situations like this are rare cause it's legal to carry a loaded gun. You never know who is going to pull one out.

My truck has a dent about my cummins badge from my lil' brothers friend punching it. He also hit the mirror and left. He denied it, but I saw him bolt off leaving a cloud of dust. I have no idea why he did it. He said he was drunk.

The thought of going to his house, tying a 2" thick rope around his rear axle of his jeep, and flooring my cummins ran through my head for weeks after that.

Just like in gone in 60 seconds. That would be freaking hilarious!.

Man... I donno what I would have done in this Hippy liberal state... . Just drawing a concealed weapon could have been a PITA... . then again... I don't think a little fence would have even scratched my bumper.....

I can say this... . I'm sure I could have ran him down! (4. 6 40 yard dash in HS, and I'm qucker now! Softball 3 nights a week will do that!) Then I donno... . again... dang whiners, criminal has all the rights state.....

ugh. .
