Good thing i'm in good at my dealership. I went on a hunting trip and on the way I got new tires, LT 305 85 R 16's. I then noticed my steering wheel was not centered anymore. So i took it to my dealer and they started to tell me that the tires are 4 sizes over the recommended size. I then told them that i've been running 33 inch tires since I've been driving and never had this problem.

They found a bent track arm and bad tie rod end. The extended warranty paid for all the above plus a n allighnment and a rental car for the day. Minus a 100. 00 deductable.

So I got about half the price of the extended warranty back.

Awesome! That is great to hear. . I got a deal in the mail for an extended warranty, and my mom lost it. that ticked me off, but its ok. . I have learned more things to do on this truck, that I basically do all my warranty work anyway. There are still a few things I will not tackle, but hey, no one's perfect in this world, and I don't have the guts to tackle ball joints, mess with front springs, and so forth... Everything else is done right here in the driveway, against the policy of the homeowner's ass'n! they can kiss it where it counts, for all I care!
