I ordered the new Cummins about a year ago. After I got it, I was OK for a while, then I started getting funny feelings. Didn't know what was wrong until I put a set of stainless tube steps on it. My excuse was to make it easier for the "little woman" to get in and out of the beast. After the steps were on, the queazy feelings went away for awhile.
Then I started getting that unique feeling again and had to have a Rhino liner installed to make it go away. A few months later I had a vicious relapse and had to install a 90 gal. fuel tank/tool box combo to ease my pain. Then came a straight exhaust and a radar detector to cool my feverish brow!
Now I've got a 5er hitch in it, new brake controller, RV plug in the bed, and getting ready to order a K&N filter, exhaust brake with gear shift switch, autometer guages, and pillar mount. Whatever this strange malady is, I have a bad case!
She thinks that somewhere, somehow, there is a vaccination or cure for this unusual disease? I don't know if there is, but I'm kind of like a "junkie", I'm not sure I want to be cured? It's like having an itch that feels really good to scratch!
From reading many posts on this site, I suspect that there are others out there that have contracted this same virus, germ, bug, or whatever it is. Those of you that have had it longer than a year, does it ever get better, or does it progress until you can't find room for more goodies or can't afford any more?
Hopelessly afflicted in Oklahoma,
