My window sticks??

Im not sure what I spilt in the window button, I think it was pop or something. Now it sticks when i want to roll down the window. The funny thing is when the truck is hot sitting in the sun it works fine? What can I spray down there to eat the pop up and not hurt anything?

Water !! as any cleaners will attack the plug connectors and switch contacts. Mine sticks and I haven't spilled any thing, came that way from the factory. when I hit the driver window switch it goes all the way down. I hate it. Makes me think that some one at DC thinks I'm to stupid to know to hold the button down untill it is where I want it, not all the way down.

Sky, aerosol electronic cleaner will fix it without damage. I'm not sure if the gunked up area can be reached from the top though, give it a try, but you may have to remove the switch.

Aerosol electronic cleaner is great stuff, I usually buy CRC brand in a red can, most auto parts and hardware stores carry it. I have never had a problem with it damaging any type of paint or plastic at all. It evaporates almost instantly and is very handy for cleaning small parts when you don't want to deal with solvent or are out on the road. Great for removing grease before welding or remote controls after the kids spill cola on them. It is very flammable though, never use it on a live circuit.
