Ok I will post my new XZillaraider comparison to Juice/Attitude here. Removed the Juice/Attitude. Got the XZ Race version installed with no problems. No codes or issues. All levels seem to work fine.
Took it straight to the Mustang Dyno at local performance shop.
Mustang Dynamometer - In ground setup.
Stock 249HP 500Torque(Not sure why this low, dyno'd higher stock before)
XZ Level 1(60HP) 329HP 646Torque
XZ Level 2(100HP) 357HP 677Torque
XZ Level 3(130HP) 379HP 716Torque
Dyno'd the Juice/Attitude couple of weeks ago on their DynoJet Dyno.
Juice Level 3(60HP) 324HP (No Torque)
Juice Level 4(80HP) 342HP (No Torque)
Juice Level 5(100HP) 360HP (No Torque)
Dyno results though not exact apples to apples are very similiar at the comparable HP levels.
Here is what I can tell from personal experience with my truck on other comparisons.
The SOTP on Juice Level 3(60hp) and XZ Level 1(60hp) about the same drivability. The idle is close to the same, the Juice may be a little more responsive at low rpms, but the XZ catches up by 2000 rpms.
Here is what I did see that is very different.
The Juice produced EGTs from 1300* to less than 1400* on level 1-4 sustained WOT, not sure on level 5. Never saw boost over 37-38psi with Juice on sustained WOT.
The XZ on level 1(60hp) produced 42psi boost and 1350* EGTs on sustained WOT.
The XZ on level 2(100hp) produced 43psi boost and 1475*+ EGTs on sustained WOT.
Scarred to see on level 3, wasnt looking at gauges when we did the level 3 Dyno pull.
It proves to me that there is definitely some fuel pressure in the XZillaraider programming and not on the Juice/Attitude. I assume that this is why the EGTs are much higher on the XZillaraider. What it means to me is that not only do I need the trans upgrades, but I need to be looking at a turbo upgrade along with it to use the higher settings.
So far I am satisfied with the XZillaraider overall and the dyno seems to confirm their documented HP. I will see how it performs for a while.
I do miss the Attitude monitor a little. Now I keep looking at the knob and realize I need to look at my gauges instead.
After I get the Juice HOT upgrade I will do it all again and post.
Just my experiences.
