Ok I will post my new XZillaraider comparison to Juice/Attitude here. Removed the Juice/Attitude. Got the XZ Race version installed with no problems. No codes or issues. All levels seem to work fine.

Took it straight to the Mustang Dyno at local performance shop.

Mustang Dynamometer - In ground setup.

Stock 249HP 500Torque(Not sure why this low, dyno'd higher stock before)

XZ Level 1(60HP) 329HP 646Torque

XZ Level 2(100HP) 357HP 677Torque

XZ Level 3(130HP) 379HP 716Torque

Dyno'd the Juice/Attitude couple of weeks ago on their DynoJet Dyno.

Juice Level 3(60HP) 324HP (No Torque)

Juice Level 4(80HP) 342HP (No Torque)

Juice Level 5(100HP) 360HP (No Torque)

Dyno results though not exact apples to apples are very similiar at the comparable HP levels.

Here is what I can tell from personal experience with my truck on other comparisons.

The SOTP on Juice Level 3(60hp) and XZ Level 1(60hp) about the same drivability. The idle is close to the same, the Juice may be a little more responsive at low rpms, but the XZ catches up by 2000 rpms.

Here is what I did see that is very different.

The Juice produced EGTs from 1300* to less than 1400* on level 1-4 sustained WOT, not sure on level 5. Never saw boost over 37-38psi with Juice on sustained WOT.

The XZ on level 1(60hp) produced 42psi boost and 1350* EGTs on sustained WOT.

The XZ on level 2(100hp) produced 43psi boost and 1475*+ EGTs on sustained WOT.

Scarred to see on level 3, wasnt looking at gauges when we did the level 3 Dyno pull.

It proves to me that there is definitely some fuel pressure in the XZillaraider programming and not on the Juice/Attitude. I assume that this is why the EGTs are much higher on the XZillaraider. What it means to me is that not only do I need the trans upgrades, but I need to be looking at a turbo upgrade along with it to use the higher settings.

So far I am satisfied with the XZillaraider overall and the dyno seems to confirm their documented HP. I will see how it performs for a while.

I do miss the Attitude monitor a little. Now I keep looking at the knob and realize I need to look at my gauges instead.

After I get the Juice HOT upgrade I will do it all again and post.

Just my experiences.

I believe the reason your numbers are lower on the Mustang dyno have been described by Quad and DLeno. Apparently the Mustang dynos have to be calibrated properly. Readings from dyno to dyno will be different. My truck with no box dynoed at 247 and 477 on a local Mustang.

The Dynojet dynos are more accurate from dyno to dyno. The rollers' weight is the calibration. They always weigh what they're supposed to weigh, so uncorrected numbers will be the same or similar dyno to dyno.

I was also talking with a Ford guy who runs his truck on both types of dynos. His truck makes bigger numbers on a Dynojet because it spools so fast his fuel pump can keep up. On a Mustang dyno, the pull takes longer, enough for his fuel system pressure to drop causing lower HP numbers.

Nice numbers by the way. I'm glad I have the 100hp box. I don't want a new clutch yet...

I still have a lot to learn, but I think I'm getting a handle on this dyno thing. I can't wait to run mine on a Dynojet.

I don't know about you, JCleary, but my 03 runs pretty cool. Climbing a freeway onramp flat holding it on the floor and grabbin' gears I have yet tosee it break 1250-1300, and I have the 140hp box! Beautiful thing! I can't wait to tow with this thing, though I think with a trailer I might make the clutch hate life. :D I wonder if the 600's run hotter? I did hear a rumor that the egt limits for the 04. 5 and 05 truck rose to 1400* sustained. Any one? If I can find the thread I'll post a link.

The 600's run hotter.

The Mustang thing baffles me. On this run it looks as we are spot on the numbers and maybe a little higher than advertised on the low setting. I think Mustang makes a great dyno for tuning at least, it just seems to not be repeatable from dyno to dyno.

We do use some fuel pressure, but not a ton.

Btw, good numbers! I am glad you are happy! Let us know if we can ever help!

Dynos are only as good as the setup/calibration and operator and vary from dyno to dyno and day to day. The operator seems to be very good. They are a very high level performance shop and build many high hp vehicles. I will try to make any further dynos on the same one with the same operator. This is about as good as I can do for comparison and tuning.

Of course when I get the trans upgraded, the track will tell the tale. Of course then you factor in my aging reflexes.

Yeah, I don't think I've hit 1200+ on the road yet, only on the dyno after 5 pulls. Maybe I didn't let it cool enough between pulls?

Anyway, I don't know what I'd do with the 140 setting. It's all I can do with the 100 setting to shift fast enough...
