Mysterius Quality Control Area?

Does anyone have any factual info on what this area is? They apparently have been holding my truck here for approx. 3 weeks. Is this normal, or is something messed up on my truck? Do they pick trucks at random or do all go threw this area. Any info would be helpful, Thanks

My truck was in the blackhole for 14 days. It appears that they did bodywork and changed some components. The truck came in with 6 (six) quality control sheets telling what the did, the dealer is not suposed to give these out. I got there with the truck and immediately open the glove box and got them.
Everything they did was to improve the relialibility. It is either wait now or have the component fail and wait later for the dealer to fumble around and try to repair the problem. Although it is a pain in the rear waiting it is beter to have the factory repair or correct a problem then have some mechanic, learn on your truck, the repair proceedure.
I waited from 4/28/00 until 8/30/00 for them to straighten out this last mess and it appears that they have gotten this one 98% correct the rest I will handle.

Grit your teeth and wait it out. It appears that they don't want to produce warranty work any more. #ad

My dealer acted like it was an area that they select certain vehicles to go and get checked out extra well. He also stated they only do this on the weekends,I just wonder what the real truth is?
