Mystery Connector

Does anyone know what the Blue connector located above the white module to the right of the emergency brake and AFT. It is a blue connector @1. 5" and has 4 spaded contacts in it. The furthest left is 12 VDC and has a tag label on the wire that says 15 AMPS.



I shorted it out and cannot figure what it goes to and how to restore the constant 12 VDC to it.

Haven't looked at it in a long time, but I *think* it's the electric trailer brake plug.

Thanks Fest3er, That is what I was thinking it might for as a first guess... ... I have to figure out what fuse goes to it.

On older Rams the fuse is under the hood, new one might be the same. Be careful probing around the unused connectors, some are plug-ins for a dynastic computer, don't want fry your PCM.

it is the brake controller hookup. the fuse for it is under the hood.



it is the 40amp fuse labeled "Trailer control" not the relay, the fuse. its in the second row from the left second fuse in from the engine.
