Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Mystery leak/drip

I was out flushing my PS fluid this weekend, and I discovered a very small coming from the passenger side, right at the front of the block where the oil pan bolts to the block. If you're staring up at it, the corner of the oil pan is curved but the block has a 90 degree corner to it. It is dripping from right there, but appears to be coming from a bit higher up.



What has me confused is the fluid that's dripping. It has a rather reddish/orangish color to it, but it is more like water in terms of the weight/viscosity. I checked the coolant reservoir, and the coolant doesn't look discolored. What fluid would have those properties?

Transmission cooler

The lines to the water to oil transmission cooler on the passenger side rear of the engine run in that area??? bg
