I was thinking late last night after a few slabs of anchovie pizza, what would happen if say a mystery switch was activated while the buggy was in park? When it was dropped in gear, what would happen? Would the transmission grenade or would the truck move? I was thinking this because it would be one heck of a surprise to a thief if they tried to steal the truck with the converter locked. Or does the computer prohibit locking at low speeds regardless of a switch?

Kind of off subject, but I used to drive a 97 SD ford with a PSD and an auto. Sometimes it would I guess not unlock the converter on startup. Usualy cold mornings(It stayed inside) when you first dropped into R it would be like slamming a manual transmission into gear with the clutch out... OUCH then the motor would die. And sometimes pulling up to a stop it would not unlock, and that was fun to stop lol.

Make a kill switch that kicks the starter over to the horn when flipped. Even if hotwired at the column it would HONK when they tried to fire it. And if you had Hadleys you might have some carpet to shampoo
