i went per instructions from tst... ... . just went and got a regular toggle switch . truck should not downshift once the tc is locked up correct??in my case i just want it for the dyno as i am sure it is hard on the truck

thanks marcel

have been up and down the road all day today. . lockup seems to work from 30 on up but if you stomp it anywhere from 40 to 60 it takes a second but it still is downshifting to 3rd... maybe a connection?? i have checked and rechecked everything

Marcel, If you're still running your stock transmission, I wouldn't be surprised if you are actually slipping the locked-up torque convertor clutch. I only have a Van Aaken module and I can slip my tcc. One day I fiddled around and zip-tied the throttle lever on the transmission as if the transmission thought it was floored. Guess what? No slippage! Mike

On edit, I see your Dunrite transmission components in your sig. Shouldn't be slipping! My first attempt at a mystery switch didn't work proprely because of too small wire gauge and a micro toggle. Possibility?Mike

its possible wire is too small or the toggle is too small... . the position of my trans relay did not match the diagram but have the jumper on the 2 bars position..... everything seems to be right to the diagram,i have a couple weeks befor we dyno ,hope i have it by then
