Has anyone heard of a slip yoke eliminator kit for the N. V. G. 241 H. D. transfer case?

I am aware of the kits offered for the L. D. 241 but not any made for the H. D. case's.

I talked to a tech. guy at J. B. Conversion's and was told that there kit would not work because of the H. D. 's mainshaft( the P. T. O. Gear and the extra support or thrust bearing ) is different and specific to the H. D. case.

I know some of the kits for the N. V. G. 231 for Jeep's and half ton Dodge Truck's from other company's actually cut down the shaft and respline it to use the bolt on yoke. I would like to do this w/ the H. D. mainshaft but I don't know if the shaft necks down after the splines, if it does than getting the shaft resplined will not work.

My question is does anyone on the TDR have any experience w/ the slip yoke eliminator kits or any specs. on the H. D. 241?

I would really like to get rid of the slip yoke so any info would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
