N49 recall - what part revision is correct or current.

I don't have the whole part number of the tie rod, but I know the original part number ended in AA. They replaced it with a AB. Now a friend says they issued a second recall and his part ends with a AC and his truck is the same as mine. He went in for the original recall last month and they replaced his AA with an AC.

Should I be looking to take my truck back for the AC part revision? Confused....

If the TRE's are aligned to sit parallel with each other there is no need. The updates are just to make sure they cannot be misaligned.
