Competition name that turbo

As the title somewhat state I have a holset turbo that I bought off ebay as an hx40 and I don't believe that is what I ended up with

It has an assy # 3593920 and model hx40 turbolader. HELP

It is a modified turbo for use as a air blower to offload pneumatic trailers. It has a very small exhaust casing, and is activated by flipping a valve that will direct all of the exhaust flow through it, and at a high idle it puts out max flow. It will likely be way too small (tight on exhaust casing) for a real engine turbo.

so what your saying is this would be great for my lawn tractor but useless on my truck

I bought it almost a year ago. Things got in the way of building my twins set(built a new house) and now I think I am ready to start again but will have to find the right top turbo. Have any better Ideas for a low buck twins set.
