That is a tool used to lift sheet steel. The sheet goes in the jaws, & the lifting shackel goes thru the eye.

No it is not. The jaws on these grips are concave to fit around aluminum conductor. If you tried to pick a sheet of steel with this it would slide right out. This is called a grip. It's used for catching and sagging wire on overhead power lines.

If this is what it takes to do a wheelie, sell your bike.

Wadda mean I need ANOTHER new rear tire?

For some reason my mpg's seem to be suffering.

If you think it's bad now, think about the view the tailgater gets. ;)

Some where, some one, thinks this is hot.

Ok I feel better now... ... .

It is a hoof pressure tester for testing the sole and the walls of a horse's hoof. Used for checking for a stone bruise, navicular disease or founder damage.

Once again proving that I didn't grow up on a farm, darn. Did spend some time around the show horse circuit back in the high school days, just helping. If it would have been a hoof pick, I'd had a chance.

Haha.

I shod horses full time for too many years. Glad it's for beer money now!!

SO THAT'S WHAT THOSE ARE FOR !!!!!!!!! When the wife want's something done AND SHE WANTS IT DONE NOW!!!!! She grabs me by the testicles and leads me to what it is she wants done with those ball grabbers is what I called them. :-laf

Another use that I recently observed was my FIL and I picked up 2 bulls for his ranch. The one bull was docile the other was pretty rank. We loaded the good bull no problem the other didnt want to go the FIL grabbed this tool from the truck and snagged the bull on that piece of meat between the nostrils and that bull STOPPED dead in his tracks and followed the FIL around like a puppy  About an hour down the road the FIL asked if something was wrong cause your so quiet? I told him Chief you scared the crap out of me with that bull nose thing I didnt know what I was going to tell the family about your death. Chief just laughed

You and me both! I had my son with me one time when he was just a little guy, shoeing for somebody. The woman said something to the effect of, "Isn't that nice, you're going to teach him how to shoe horses for a living. " My reply, "No ma'am. I going to let him see how hard this work is and maybe he'll go to college!"

It makes a great living. Here in Ca, I was clearing $100K a year, easy and during the spring and summer months, I'd come home with $1k in one day occasionally.

However, the body cannot take that kind of work for your entire life and having WOMEN as 99% of your cliental can break a mans spirit! :-laf

I quit full time almost seven years back and only shoe about a dozen horses and month with a few trims thrown in.
