Just bought a FORD

I never have a problem adopting dogs that are being given up. Being they come already named makes things easy. My rottie's name is Shadybrook Girl. Brook for short only I added an "e" to Brooke as in Brooke Shields.

Quite coincidentally, my French Beauceron complete with the requisite double dewclaws was named "Dually".

it stims from an inside joke we have with some friends. we had an all white horse I bought named Whitey. we showed this horse quite a bit and took a lot of guff over the name of that horse. but i didnt name him, the previous owners did, honest. if i had a dollar for every time i said that :D

hince the name Uncle Cracker and the truck nicknamed whitey! If i'm gonna be accused i might as well be guilty :D

my next dog will be named, Diesel. I know that for sure!!

So far your names made me laugh the most... .

Eric

PS isnt uncle cracker that paunchy wannabe rapper?:D

We named our pit bull "Dixie", after our love for all things pertaining to life in the Southern states... . probably should have named her "Hoover" or "Jaws", she eats anything off the shop floor. Life gets real interesting when we got to pry her jaws apart to retrieve nuts and bolts, transmission parts, tie wraps, even one of Peter's SBC Kevlar bushings... . :D I don't leave my Snap-On tools laying where she can chew on them. So we keep the shop floor as spotless as possible!

My mutt's name is Val, short for Valentino. As in Valentino Rossi, motorcycle roadracing genius and four time world champion. Besides, 3 years ago when I named my dog, Rossi was kinda of a goofy little bas*&%$, just like my dog. :D

Used to

Used to have the purtiest backyard in the block. I now have three dogs that take care of any grass that I used to have to mow.

Couldn't figure out a name for this one until I found him pushing the slats out on the picket fence. Hence "Bulldozer" is his title.

The first dog of the family is "Boodro" or "Budreux". He just looks like a "Boodro". He does like driving a Cummins though.

Then we have "Mandy" who loves to beat up on "Dozer". She only has one eye, she lost one to a cat (not ours).

And a cat named "Rufus" who is one taco shy of a combination plate. This is a pic taken right after I had taken a heater vent cover off in the back bedroom. My wife had just finnished asking me if "Rufus" would get into the vent. I answered "No, I don't think so". So much for my opinion, cobweb cat...

Dog name

I adopted a stray dog at a truck stop in NC- it had been abandoned- I named her Diesel as I got her and a fill-up at the same place. She has fit in with my other two- a Golden Retriever named Winston and a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Nala- quite the pack- Diesel is a black unknown breed homely looking thing- I wished they sold dog collars at the PowerStore.

I had two dogs (passed on) one was named a$$ and the the other was hole. hey I had them since my drunken high school days. Used to be interesting when my wife and I argued.

Our current dog, a Westie named Mitzi, was named by my kids.

Before, I had a pair of dogs and named them Nip and Tuck.

Had a cat named Strumpet at one point along the way too.

Getting back to the original idea... naming dogs from foods...

Chicken and Rice? Ramen Noodle? I dunno... LOL

Filet Mignon?
