Anybody have any experience with a Napa branded luk clutches . It’s a 13 inch clutch and looks identical to the one I pulled out of the truck but it requires much less force to push the clutch pedal than the old clutch

Reduced pedal effort with a new same for same clutch is a normal observation. In fact should be easier.

Release system has been cleaned and lubed up less friction.

But the other hidden is that as that disc got thinner from use the release effort increases slowly. Just like grey hair and beer bellies. New clutch is like Grecian formula and spanks.

Point it up hill and get into it does it slip? Shifts cleanly No, then alls well.

I replaced my clutch and flywheel with a Napa Luk assembly. The clutch pedal depresses easily (like yours). I have logged 40,000 miles on the clutch - a good deal of the time towing a combined weight of 13,000 - 17,000 lbs. The clutch is performing fine.

Now I feel a lot better . I sure hope this clutch holds like the last one. I spend most of the time loaded the last clutch went 70,000 miles of me driving and I don’t know how long it was in before I got the truck. The only reason I replaced it was because I was already in that far replacing a fifth gear and counter shaft gear and a third and fourth synchro . Also anyone who wants to know the fifth gear retainer does not work still let the nut back off just a little bit the nut was hand tight so this time I put loctite permanent bearing mount on the gear and nut got 70,000 miles out of the Last set and would still be going if the nut wouldn’t stayed tight

And just as a FYI, you're truck is the NV4500 5 speed correct?

That truck never had a 13" as OEM but by changing the FW and using the NV5600 cover with either a 13" disc with 1 1/4" spline (an adapted part from 1 3/8") or changing the NV4500 input shaft to 1 3/8" bingo bango bungo it's a 13" system w/o a lot of pain and suffering.

I realize it never had a 13 inch from the factory but it did when I got it and Uses a 1 1/4 input shaft . Also has the ball bearing for the pilot bearing from quad 4x4
