Does anyone run one? My DMF is going south and I'm going to replace it with a SMF and new clutch. I don't tow real heavy or often and the truck is stock. I know lots of folks here will tell me to go with a SBC kit but I was wondering if anyone was running the kit from NAPA, they're supposed to be made by Zoom and are "rated" for more power than my truck produces.

I thought about using a napa clutch. From what I could find all they say is "exceeds oem specifications". I turned mine up last year. I am about 300HP and 660 torque. I had it apart replacing the main shaft in the transmission to fix the 5th gear problem. My OEM clutch had no problems and still had some life left but I felt like I needed to do it while into it that far. I used a South Bend Clutch for that reason. It is rated at 400HP and 800 torque. Very very pleased with it!

I'm not a fan of SBC (yes, I'm the only one..) but if I were to go with any brand of clutch I would make sure it's made of Kevlar because the material has such nice engagement, is extremely long lasting and is super easy on the flywheel.
