Can someone tell me the wire connections between the Ebrake (switch) to the added NAPA (2speed) switch added to gear shift?

I think I read 'Yellow wire'?

This is on a new Ebrake installed in a 2000 truck.

jjw,

I installed the Cummins E Brake by Jacobs (P/N 3800780) on my 2000 RAM several months ago. I checked the circuitry of the toggle switch before install as I too have the 2-speed axle switch. Refer to page 10, figure 25 of your E Brake installation manual. When the switch is toggled to the on position two independent circuits are completed. One connects the white wire to the green wire via the diode that indicates that the brake is on. The other connects the black wire (which is really the red wire from pin #20 of the ECM) to the yellow wire that goes to the vacuum solenoid.
You need to wire your 2-speed switch so that it can make or break the path from the ECM to the vacuum solenoid-that could be the yellow wire you mentioned in your post.
I have not installed my 2-speed switch yet. This morning I'm working on a mount. I'm interested in hearing how you mounted, or intend to mount yours.

Tom:

Thanks for the tip... . We will proabably buy a ready made two-speed attachment clamp from a truck shop. If I find one I will post the results.

I had a custom little mount fabed for the 2-speed axle switch. It was made out of 7/16" nickel plated steel. Two pieces were clamped together and the two holes were drilled out of the center (appropriate diameters for the stick shift and switch shaft). The corners were rounded and two countersunk allen screws clamp the thing together holding the switch securely in place.
