Tstat 150 F?

Well I just replaced my tstat the other day because when towing in 100+ temps it went to the high end of the temp gauge, I replaced it with a NAPA one.

The one I pulled out was rated for 150F, where and how did that get in my truck.
I really liked the 150 stat because my temps would hardly ever get past 190 towing.

Since I put the NAPA one in with empty weight it sit around the 200 to 220 mark and thats with 104 temps outside, I don't like that.

All fins are clear and mileage in the truck is 230k

Where do I get a 150F tstat?

Thanks

Cummins P/N 3934373 is the one the that runs cool. I put one in 2 months ago. Be aware that warm-up times are SLOW, and engine runs about 160° +/-.

Mine does not fluctuate.

Has anybody tried the 190° 24V T-Stat on a 12V?

The Napa stat that I put in made my truck overheat (when empty).

Went and got a Cummins stat, and its fine now.

It is suppose to cycle by the way. Even Cummins verified it.

I put in a NAPA replacement and right away it swung wildly. I assumed it was air. After a week or so it quit. Steady as a rock now right up to 190
