Go Stewart

Tony's pretty tuff at the Rock as long as he can keep the engine in the car. :{

Did any one else think it was pretty funny seeing Serlin Marlin get out of his car and pull out the fender:-laf (good stuff)

Glad to see Ward get lucky and win one for the Dodge boys too. :p The Dodges look like they could be pretty tuff at the Rock to. :)

Noticed after the race the Chevy boys were crying about the rule chang for the Fords too. :-{} #@$%! :-{} (will it ever end)

Nice to see someone turn Gordon too:D

Go # 20Oo.

Till this weekend

I'll have to go with the 24 car, I've been a fan of his since his rookie year, too bad he doesnt drive a Dodge. And I cant forget about my homeboy (even though he didnt make Daytona) Hut Stricklin, he's driving the 23 Hills Bros. Dodge, Ward's teammate. Hut's been a friend for awhile, we both grew up in the same small town. Whats really cool is when he gets us pit passes for Bristol, you havent been to a race unless you've been to Bristol, especially the night race. Any TDR members going to Bristol?

Goin racin at the rock

This track and Darlington demand experience. Rookies and the youngin's have never won here. These tracks are so gritty, that its impossible to run out of gas 'cause your tires will have fallen off first.

I'd think Ward definitely has the best shot for the dodges here (he likes these sandblasted tracks and generally does well).

Sentimental favorite as well as a really good shot of winning would be Kenny Wallace in Parks' 1 DEI cheby. Park won last spring, kenny was second in the fall (after winning the pole and the busch race that weekend)

I'm just happy that these races almost always turn into hard fought battles 'tween the veterans like Mark Martin (former Cummins sponsor ending '01), the Wallace brothers, Jarrett, Rudd, Sterling, etc. with all the youngins sittin several laps back watchin. They never have the patience that this track and Darlington require.

But I gotta say I'm pullin hard for the 22.
The Dodge boys (and gal) have gotta million bucks and new vipers from DC on the line if their team wins the championship - lotsa incentive to get out and win.

The who

I'm still pulling for Sterling Marlin. If we can just keep him in the car and he stays away from 29 he will be OK. bg

We went to Daytona and every time we thought he was done, Jr. and crew would fix the car and come back out. After he cut his first tire, he came from toward the back of the pack to run in the top ten without a front fender!! He ran a lot of the race without any brakes. That boy is motivated to win. He will be hard to beat! We listened to him on the scanner and he was blisterin' some ears... ..... I may be wrong, but seems Nemechek won in the Nov. race at the "Rock".

I am not going this year, but I did go back in 2000 at the night race. I was home for a month vacation from Saudi Arabia and my wife surpriesed me with tickets to the night race at Bristol. Both Sat. and Sun. night. Was a great weekend and found out how much I really liked short track racing.

Oh yeah bring your ear plugs!!!

Dodge Rules... NASCAR:D :D They are ONE for ONE! Oo.

Stay in the car Sterling!!!!

Sterling had them whipped. That little tangle with Gordon and Sterling's little stroll cost me one hundred of you boy's jellybeans!!:{ :{ :{

Bristol..

Hey racingfanscjww
Looks like your off to some of my favorite tracks.

Bristol goer here -- cant go to spring race this year, due to a wedding (of all the times to get married). But wouldn't miss the nite race EVER. I'll never forget terry labonte being spun by earnhart on the last lap several years back Sit up in the kulwicki terrace. Usually have idealistic plans to camp way out back, but never make it, and almost always end up across the street from the souvenir stands. (I __MAY__ have two extra tix for the nite race, and if I do, i'll post here in a month or two and it'll be first come first serve AT COST for a tdr'r whose never been to Btistol)

Also never miss the Talledega fall race - just too busy in the spring for that one.

Atlanta I flip flop between the spring/fall race
This year fall. Sit up in them luxury suites :cool: drinkin free beer and playing poker for three days straight. Last year stood smack dab in the middle of tech inspection - no one ever told me to move - so i just stayed there listening to Helton grumble and grind to everyone coming up to the Winston Cup trailer. Pretty cool place - big spread out garage area /pits

Favorite races for me though are Darlington, spring and fall.

Maybe Bristol nite race we can have a get together, set of spots at a campground (no All-American tho - too loud too expensive too crowded), or just meet somewhere.

AGray, we camp at the TriCity auto parts across the street from the track between the north and south entrances, only about 30' across the street actually. I have two sets of season tickets, the set I sell is in the Kulwicki and the ones I keep are in the Pearson. You need to look me up when you are there and drink a cold adult beverage with us, we have another couple from Birmingham that pulls there camper and a bunch of friends from Lexington Ky. with their camper, so there are 3 campers together in adjoining sites. Hey here is a picture of the wife with Earnhardt in victory circle at Talladega, his last win also he won the winston million.
