I got it - i installed it - it works great! Yes the opening screen is still there and yes the10mph features limit is defeated.

It is a s/w version upgrade for me so it is a double bonus.

Which version did you have? What's the last 2 letters on your old disc? is it AD or AE or something?

My old disc was AD this one brings me up to AE. I talked to the company that makes them and they said that this is the latest version and that a newer version isnt expected out soon.

I called the update # yesterday and was told that the new update was set for early '08. That we were more than half way through the AE version. I'm still on version AC and need to get an AD or AE version when someone upgrades.



Do you have any pics as to where your camera is? Does it work for hooking up a trailer?

If you want to check the IR lights... use your cell phone camera... you can see if they work through the cell phone camera. . but not with your eyes... . good luck!!

Backup Camrea Monitor where did you place yours

Backup Camrea Monitor where did you place yours ? I am looking to place a monitor (screen) in my truck only place I can see to do it is just right of my steering wheel (7" screen as think 9" might be to large for area) if I place it about mid line at dash may work
