Anyone know where I can get an updated copy of the navigation CD's for the RB4? Can someone make copies for me and send them to me?

Ummm... Could you repeat the part about the stuff where you said all about the thing???

For a minute there I thought you were asking about NAV--Norton Anti Virus. :-laf

The latest cd will be out this june-july so you may want to wait. You can order the cd from the chrysler, dodge web site. Your nav head unit will automatically update once you install the updated cd and all older nav cd's won't work in the headunit due to the newer update.

If the RB4 is like my AVIC-N1, it's a DVD not a CD, and it's got over 4. 7GB of data, so you'll need a dual layer burner to copy it. I just bought the burner, but the blank discs are like 8 bucks apiece so I haven't backed up my NAV DVD's yet. Then again the RB4 is the non-maps one, huh? So it might actually be a CD...

Mine is the CD and not the DVD version (model # RB4 then???). It came with two CDs split into the eastern and western US. I made backup copies of both and keep the original's at home. This way when the CD gets scratched/lost/stolen I simply make another copy and I'm ready to go.

Not sure what version CD I have. Picked up the truck in March 2004.

i have the rb1 and the dvd contains 9 gigs of information the update disk is also the replacement disk for arround 100 bucks i think. the latest update was only an inprovement in the software allowing you to use the main menue up 10 mph previously you were put in the an simpler menue when driving at any speed. i am waiting for the map and address update hopefully this year will have that... .

I sure hope they come up with an update for the RB4. I have an 04. 5 with the RB4 and have not been happy from day one. There isn't much info on Canada especially western Canada and nothing what so ever on Alsaka of course they have Hawaii info, DUH. I have used it up and down the west coast and around AZ, It is a problem to plan a long trip. I found you have to do it in sections as it is not friendly with picking your own route out. I wanted to go from Sacramento to Yuma and it wants me to go by way of LA. I also wanted to go from Yuma to Hemet Calif and it wanted me to go so San Diego first about 60 miles father than directly by way of Indio. I hope the price is not $300 because to put that kind of dollar value on a band aid for the program is dumb. For $750 you can get a Garmin 2610 and have a good moving map display and be happy. This has been a sore spot with me since I got the truck. DC blew it with this. They should supply it for free for shaft we got. When you are out in the Tulles beyond Radio reception you cannot use the CD player while navigating, that was dumb also. .
