Nav System Software Upgrade

Received in the mail a promo for the nav system on my Jeep... I own an 05...



The upgrade is for a new DVD that says it includes expanded coverage in over 130 cities and now with over 5 million points of interest.....



It's US and Canada and includes all vehicles with the RB1, REC, or JLN Nav systems... . it than goes on to list 13 platforms of vehicles that it fits... etc... etc...



The problem is that its 200. 00 and I'm not interested in paying that for it...



Wonder if one of you with a 07 would be interested in helping me out... and maybe a few others.....

I got the mailer in Saturday's mail as well. I would have to really do a lot of driving using my NAV system to warrant purchasing the upgrade for $200. Give it a week or 2 and it will be all over the internet, e-bay, etc at a much reduced price. Maybe we should have a group buy on ONE?

Great,just spent all that cash on an 06,now they want more. whats next a back up camera on 08s?

I guess you would think after spending SO much money on the truck, NAV system included, that they would offer the updates for free or at a greatly reduced price. They should make this stuff downloadable too. This would be true SERVICE to their customers, one little thing at a time, that is how you get customer loyalty and satisfaction. I wonder if GM and FORD's systems have this type of an expensive NAV upgrade?



There will be plenty enough of people buying this to sustain thier investment, more would actually purchase it at a better price. Don't they get it that VOLUME is a better way to profit?
