Help please. Does anyone know the website or a phone number to purchase updated CDs for the factory nav system??? Can't find anything in the manuals or on-line. Thanx. Mine's an 05.

There are many on e-bay, new they are $144 from DC, on e-bay they can be had for $65-85 with the buy it now option.

I'll look for the factories website, looked at it a few times but not sure if I bookmarked it. Brian

CD for navigation system

Hi Mike, the phone number for Alpine navigation is 1-866-733-5492. They open at 0700 in California. Why do you need a new disc?

Kenny,

I have been looking to get an updated one also. The reason for this is simple to me: New roads that aren't on old CD's, better mapping, updated firmware for the unit etc... A lot of times, mine has wanted me to turn in places where there were no roads to turn onto, but it would be nice to be able to find an address of some place that has been there for over a year that is not on the CD.

I just got the new DVD off of ebay for about $100. 00. Everything worked great but the updated version is still running behind in my area... . A road that has been there for about 3 years is on this one but none of the new businesses are on it. It seems like they run 2-3 years behind in my area.

The data base for my RB4 is missing towns that have been here for over 100 years, The factory nav system is a joke. #@$%!

Thanx for the replys. My truck was built in Sept 04 so I'm quessing the CD data is close to 2 years old. I have found the system to be quite helpful when traveling in unfamiliar areas so just want to be current for this summer's trips.
